Kapil Sharma is an Indian comedian, host, actor, and tv presenter. Kapil was born on 2nd April 1981 in Amritsar, Punjab. His father was a head constable in the Punjab Police and his mother is a housewife. Kapil wanted to be a singer. He gives many auditions for singing reality shows. Kapil was the winner of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge in 2007. He won 10 Lakh Rupees prize money.
After that Kapil participated in Comedy Circus and won the title multiple times. He also hosts one season of Jhalak Dikhla Ja on Colors TV. After lots of ups and downs, Kapil came with his own show Comedy Knight With Kapil on Colors TV and it became a huge hit. His show Comedy Nights got shut after the two successful years.
Kapil and his team again came with new show The Kapil Sharma Show on Sony TV. Again the show became a huge hit but after the fight between Kapil and his co-actor, Sunil Grover makers decided to shut the show. Sunil Grover, Ali Asghar, Sugandha Mishra left the show.
After eight months Kapil came again with new fresh show Family Time with Kapil. But, show again got shut just after five episode because of Kapil’s health issue and TRP ratings. These days Kapil is very happy because he is coming back with his old show The Kapil Sharma Show on Sony TV. Kapil is also getting married to his girlfriend Ginni Chatrath.
