About Bharatendu Natya Akademi : In memory of Bhartendu Harishchandra, father of Modern Hindi Drama, Department of Culture, Government of Uttar Pradesh established Bhartendu Natya Kendra in August, 1975 aiming to impart professional training in various aspects of theatre.
